Linda never had a silver spoon. She comes from a large family of brothers and sisters from Portland, Maine.
She graduated from the University College/UMO with a degree in Human Services and studied public policy, law, business administration and real estate courses.
She worked in the social services field for a number of years as a vocational director, youth career and employment advisor, and supporter to the disadvantaged populations seeking employment and weaning off from SSI/SSDI and welfare programs.
She was appointed to the Maine Republican Party Platform committee and was elected Androscoggin County Republican Committee Woman.
Linda fought along side members of a union and then challenged being a member of the union at Augusta hearings in support of Larry Lockman's bill Right to Work.
She's acquired real estate and rental property from hard work and enjoys contract language.
Linda is Pro-Life, Pro-2nd Amendment and believes in parents rights to decide what is best for their children. She is for less government, less taxes and monitoring tax funded social service programs for measurement of effectiveness. If it's not working, defund it!
There's lots more to know about Linda. She'll be hosting informational meetings throughout the state and hopes to meet you at one of them!
